Here is where it begins...Endless are the possibilities!
Pre School Ballet
Open to girls and boys ages 2 - 4 years old, BE Dance Studios Pre School Ballet program provides fun and creativity while enhancing coordination and social skills.
Students learn Ballet fundamentals, including the positions of the arms and feet, the seven ways to move, locomotor and directional movement, as well as poise and grace.
These energetic and confidence building classes, instill both discipline and focus at an early age. Instructors and assistants guide children using class themes, props and imagination, in order to make learning not only fun, but possible.
By creating small tasks for students to learn, understand and progressively accomplish, Pre School Ballet classes teaches students to believe in themselves and their abilities.
Pre School Ballet Classes meet, once a week for 45 minutes and participate in 2 performances per season (Nov/Dec and May/June).
Class sizes are limited to 10 - 12 students per class.
BE Dance Studios recreational program is composed of classes meet for 6 - 12 weeks throughout the season. Recreational classes are set up to be convenient, great for fitness and an introduction to BDS programs.
Recreational classes are offer on Saturdays. This schedule makes it easy for busy families to stay active and involved with less time commitment than our Performance or Ensemble programs which meet 2 to 6 days a week.
Recreational classes are offered for both children ages 5+ and Adults.
Additionally, Recreational classes meet for 6 to 12 weeks at a time. This allows students to sample a variety of classes and dance styles and discover which they are most passionate about.
Finally, recreational pricing is conveniently priced. Each class provides valuable dance education for a one time fee, which is paid at the beginning of each session. Families do not have to commit to the month to month pricing of Pre School or Performance programs.
Great for Fitness
BE Dance Studios’ recreational classes are a great way to get and stay in shape. Classes are high energy and improve student stamina, flexibility, strength, energy, and cardiovascular health.
Get to Know BDS
BE Dance Studios’ recreational program is a great way to get to know us! We know there are many dance schools around and many options to choose from. Being a part of BDS recreational class is a great way to see our staff in action, experience what makes us unique and tryout if our program meets you and your family’s needs.
BE Dance Studios Performance Program is designed to provide students, their families, friends and the community the opportunity to experience the magic and enchantment of bringing stories to life on stage.

Classes are separated by age and are open to Beginner, Intermediate and Advance students.
BE Dance Studios provides progressive, age appropriate dance and gymnastics training. This means, that we give each student the step-by-step tools and guidance required to master skills at the right time according to their physical and mental development.
Performance program students participate in two stage shows per season…

Summer is the time to grow! BE Dance Studios Summer Programs are designed with both new and returning families in mind.
Summer is the perfect time for interested families to join our program. Take a class and determine if BE Dance Studios is a good fit for you and your family. Our camps and 6-week classes give you the opportunity to see first hand how our program runs without the long term commitment of the Fall/Spring season.
Summer is also the perfect time to grow. Returning families who attend Summer classes see an amazing amount of growth in their dance and gymnastics skills.
BE Dance Studios offers 3 programs during the Summer:
Camps have been set up to help students improve their gymnastics skills. Each week of camp is focused around mastering a specific skill and each skill gets progressively harder from one week to the next. By doing this students can see their growth from the beginning of the week to the end of the week and from the beginning of Summer to the end.
Weekly camp skills include - Splits, Bridges, Limbers, Cartwheels, Balance Beam, Bar, Handsprings and Aerials.
Because most skills build upon the other we encourage families to sign up to enjoy the full duration of camp.
Classes have been designed to improve movement and musicality. Students learn poise and grace, improve social skills, and learn ballet terminology.
Workshops have been designed to challenge the more advance student. Students who are starting Pointe (dancing on their toes) are fitted and begin working in Pointe shoes during Summer ONLY.
Students may take PrePointe throughout the year, but students WILL ONLY BE FITTED AND ALLOWED TO BEGIN WORKING ON POINTE DURING THE SUMMER. This is because during the Summer, there are no performances and we have more time to work safely and progressively, at their own individual pace.
The Summer schedule will be available beginning March 1 and enrollment begins during Spring Break. Check back during the Spring to see the Full Schedule.
FROM THE DESK OF MS. PEPPIE - BE DANCE STUDIOS ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
In 2007, I became a Goodwill Ambassador for the Republic of Gambia in Africa. It was a life changing experience. I would travel to and from Gambia to advocate for the arts, education, women’s equality and health, donating time & resources, and encouraging others to do the same. Over time, my fellow Goodwill Ambassadors and I developed a community of partners and programs that helped build bridges linking the tradition and history of our past and the possibilities of our future.
Inspired by my time in Gambia, I set out to create a similar experience for our students and families here at BE Dance Studios. BE Dance Studios’ Ambassadors advocate for the arts, education, families, equality and health. Ambassadors share their BDS journey with their friends and help to grow our tribe.
Dancers are selected to join the Ambassador Club when a friend that they have shared their story with enrolls in classes at BE Dance Studios AND lists that dancer as how they heard about us. Added benefits of becoming a member of the Ambassador Club, include discounted/VIP tickets, exclusive credits and gifts, and special recognition throughout the year including being featured on the Ambassador’s Club Wall.
