Marketing & Communications Assistant

About the Role
BE Dance Studios is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven Marketing & Communications Assistant to help amplify our brand and ensure that the BE Dance mission and values are reflected cohesively across every platform — digital, print, written, published, and in person.

This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, strategy, and structure — someone who can balance artistry and analytics to showcase BE Dance Studios’ programs, teachers, students, and community impact. The Marketing & Communications Assistant is responsible for ensuring that every piece of communication — from a single post to a full campaign — aligns with our mission of authenticity, excellence, and connection.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a cohesive visual and written brand presence that highlights BE Dance Studios’ programs, students, staff, and events.

  • Manage content scheduling to ensure consistent and strategic communication without overlap or information fatigue.

  • Write, edit, and proofread studio communications, newsletters, promotional materials, and digital campaigns.

  • Create and monitor paid advertisements and organic posts to measure performance and return on investment.

  • Build and maintain “bridges” for potential leads to connect with the studio (forms, landing pages, social links, etc.), and track the effectiveness of each bridge.

  • Maintain all in-studio visuals, including television displays, message boards, flyers, signage, and other visual materials to ensure they are updated, accurate, and aligned with current campaigns.

  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director, administrative team, and instructors to ensure communication aligns with studio operations, values, and goals.

  • Assist in photography, videography, and visual storytelling efforts that document and celebrate studio life.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and design skills with attention to detail and tone.

  • Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok preferred).

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, Go High Level, and similar platforms).

  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple campaigns at once.

  • Creative, self-motivated, and passionate about community engagement and the performing arts.
