Location: BE Dance Studios — Miramar, FL
Schedule: Part-Time | 15–30 hours/week
Hourly Rate: Starting at $15.50/hour with growth opportunities
Required Dates: Must be available to work June 27–July 3, July 5, July 11–12, and August 2

Position Overview

The Retention Specialist is a key point of contact for current and returning families, helping to build and sustain strong relationships that ensure students remain connected to their BE Dance journey. You’ll play a crucial role in the studio experience—engaging families, coordinating follow-ups, and fostering a customer journey that reflects the joy, professionalism, and heart of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for retention-focused communication (in-person, phone, text, email)

  • Follow up with absences, inquiries, and re-engagement opportunities

  • Schedule and coordinate make-up classes through our enrollment system

  • Manage online orders and studio supply inventory

  • Maintain studio message boards and update visual displays

  • Monitor and uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the studio environment

  • Use CRM and studio software tools (Jackrabbit, Basecamp, HighLevel) for organization and communication

  • Ensure families are informed about policies, events, and studio happenings

  • Work both onsite and remotely with reliable internet access

Qualifications & Experience

  • Background in dance and/or performing arts (preferred)

  • Experience in customer service or sales roles

  • Familiarity with studio software tools or ability to learn quickly

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

  • Personable, professional, and community-focused

  • Growth mindset and strong sense of accountability

  • Genuinely enjoys engaging with people and supporting their journey

Schedule & Availability

  • Tuesday–Thursday: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Additional remote hours may be assigned based on project needs.
