Compensation: $25–$38 per class/hour (admin duties at $18–$20/hour)

About BE Dance Studios
BE Dance Studios is a thriving dance school located in the city of Miramar. Our studio is dedicated to providing outstanding dance education and presenting remarkable dance works for our students and community. We are currently fine-tuning and expanding our team and are seeking mission-driven dance educators who align with our mission and studio values.
We offer a variety of programs for ages 2–Adult and are currently seeking exceptional instructors to serve our program. Reporting to the Artistic Director, our teachers work collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure every student and family feels welcomed, valued, and inspired.
About the Position
We are looking for a knowledgeable, energetic, and safety-conscious Acrobatics Teacher who can engage students across multiple age groups and levels. This role requires a solid understanding of proper progressions, body alignment, and spotting techniques, and a deep commitment to helping dancers build strength, flexibility, and confidence through acrobatic movement.
You should be passionate about youth development, capable of creating a class culture that celebrates discipline and fun, and willing to work collaboratively with our team to bring a high standard of acro education to the studio.
Key Responsibilities
Teach beginner through intermediate-level acrobatics to children ages 4–16 in a safe, encouraging environment.
Use proper spotting techniques and progressions in line with AcroArts, USA Gymnastics, or other recognized acro methods.
Incorporate conditioning and injury prevention into classes.
Collaborate with the studio team on student placement, performance choreography, and classroom structure.
Support enrollment and community engagement through events, social media features, and trial class participation.
Qualifications
Training and/or certification in Acrobatics, AcroArts, Cirque, Gymnastics, or similar disciplines
Experience teaching children in a studio, gymnastics, or dance setting
Demonstrated safety knowledge and strong spotting ability
Effective classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to showing up prepared, aligned with our values, and open to feedback
Available to teach in-person in Miramar, FL
Bonus Qualifications
Ability to choreograph for performances and recitals
Familiarity with multiple disciplines (jazz, modern, ballet, etc.)
Previous experience collaborating with other dance educators
Comfort using studio software like Jackrabbit or Go High Level
Availability & Schedule
This is a part-time position ranging from 2 to 15 hours per week (teaching & admin) depending on season and enrollment. Candidates must be available for scheduled classes and planning meetings. Monthly and quarterly teacher collaboration sessions are required.
