About BE Dance Studios
BE Dance Studios is a thriving dance school located in the city of Miramar. Our studio is dedicated to providing outstanding dance education and presenting remarkable dance works for our students and community. We are currently fine-tuning and expanding our team and are seeking mission-driven dance educators who align with our mission and studio values.

We offer a variety of programs for ages 2–Adult and are currently seeking exceptional instructors to serve our program. Reporting to the Artistic Director, our teachers work collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure every student and family feels welcomed, valued, and inspired.

Position Overview

BE Dance Studios is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Ballet Teacher for our Adult Programs, which include Soulful Ballet (open level)Ballet WorkshopsAbsolute Beginner BalletBallet for Senior Citizens, and community outreach initiatives. This position calls for someone whose joy for movement is infectious—a teacher who understands how to make dance feel both empowering and accessible for every adult who walks through our doors.

Our adult classes are rooted in community and connection. Many of our students are returning to dance after years away, rediscovering movement in changing bodies, or experiencing ballet for the very first time. The ideal candidate can create a warm, welcoming environment that celebrates each dancer’s individual journey while inspiring them to move, grow, and return week after week.

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging adult ballet classes across multiple levels, from absolute beginner to open level.

  • Deliver lessons that are challenging yet accessible, ensuring every student feels successful and motivated.

  • Foster an inclusive environment that prioritizes joy, confidence, and personal progress.

  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director, administrative, and production teams to maintain curriculum alignment and studio goals.

  • Support the growth and retention of adult students by:

    • Building meaningful connections that encourage class loyalty.

    • Creating excitement and “FOMO” through engaging instruction and word-of-mouth energy.

    • Contributing to outreach, workshops, and special events that promote adult dance engagement.

  • Ensure each class maintains BE Dance’s standard of excellence, community, and artistry.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in ballet technique and pedagogy with an adaptable, body-positive approach.

  • Experience teaching adult or open-level classes with mixed experience levels.

  • Excellent communication and motivational skills; able to make dance enjoyable and achievable for all students.

  • Professional demeanor with enthusiasm for community connection and growth.

  • Ability to balance technical precision with warmth, humor, and human connection.

Details

  • Starting Pay: $25 per hour.

  • Availability: Immediate openings, with opportunities for Spring and Summer 2026 sessions.

  • Teachers must follow the BE Dance Curriculum and uphold studio values of education, performance, creativity, excellence, community, and authenticity.

  • Part-time position with potential for additional classes, workshops, and outreach events.

Additional Expectations:

  • Attend monthly and quarterly faculty meetings

  • Participate in performance planning and participate in developing curriculum

  • Maintain regular communication with studio leadership and families

  • Participate in student assessments

  • Align with BE Dance Studios’ commitment to inclusivity and excellence

Availability & Schedule
This is a part-time position ranging from 2 to 15 hours per week (teaching & admin) depending on season and enrollment. Candidates must be available for scheduled classes and planning meetings. Monthly and quarterly teacher collaboration sessions are required.
