About BE Dance Studios
BE Dance Studios is a thriving dance school located in the city of Miramar. Our studio is dedicated to providing outstanding dance education and presenting remarkable dance works for our students and community. We are currently fine-tuning and expanding our team and are seeking mission-driven dance educators who align with our mission and studio values.

We offer a variety of programs for ages 2–Adult and are currently seeking exceptional instructors to serve our program. Reporting to the Artistic Director, our teachers work collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure every student and family feels welcomed, valued, and inspired.

Position Overview

BE Dance Studios is seeking a caring, creative, and dependable Ballet Teacher to lead classes for our youngest dancers, ages 2–7. This position is ideal for educators who understand how to make early ballet both imaginative and foundational—helping students fall in love with movement while building confidence, coordination, and classroom discipline. Teachers in this role will help shape the foundation of each child’s dance journey while contributing to the growth and community culture of BE Dance Studios.

Responsibilities

  • Teach weekly ballet classes for ages 2–7 in alignment with the BE Dance Curriculum.

  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director, fellow teachers, administrative team, and production staff to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all programs.

  • Mentor and train student teaching assistants, modeling professionalism and effective classroom leadership.

  • Support studio marketing and community engagement initiatives, including:

    • Responding to questionnaires and studio communications in a timely manner.

    • Attending special events and outreach performances.

    • Completing student evaluations and feedback forms.

    • Participating in staff photo sessions and other media features.

  • Foster a positive and structured environment where creativity, discipline, and joy coexist.

  • Prepare students for in-studio events, seasonal performances, and community showcases.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in ballet technique and pedagogy; certification in recognized methods (RAD, ABT, Cecchetti, etc.) preferred but not required.

  • Prior experience teaching early childhood and primary-level students in dance or education settings.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and uphold BE Dance Studios’ core values of education, performance, creativity, excellence, community, and authenticity.

  • Starting Pay: $23 per hour.

  • Availability: Immediate openings as well as Spring and Summer 2025 positions.

  • Teachers must follow the BE Dance Curriculum and participate in ongoing professional development.

Availability & Schedule
This is a part-time position ranging from 2 to 10 hours per week depending on season and enrollment. Candidates must be available for scheduled classes and planning meetings. Monthly and quarterly teacher collaboration sessions are required.
