Compensation: $25–$38 per class/hour (admin duties at $18–$20/hour)
Hours: 2–10 hours per week depending on season and enrollment

About BE Dance Studios
BE Dance Studios is a thriving dance school located in the city of Miramar. Our studio is dedicated to providing outstanding dance education and presenting remarkable dance works for our students and community. We are currently fine-tuning and expanding our team and are seeking mission-driven dance educators who align with our mission and studio values.
We offer a variety of programs for ages 2–Adult and are currently seeking exceptional instructors to serve our program. Reporting to the Artistic Director, our teachers work collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure every student and family feels welcomed, valued, and inspired.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Ballet Teacher with additional specialties (such as jazz, modern, tap, musical theatre, or acrobatics) to join our instructional team. This teacher should be classically trained, with strong ballet technique and the ability to inspire, educate, and transform students through dance. The ideal candidate brings a broad skill set and the versatility to teach across multiple disciplines, with excellent classroom management and a genuine love for teaching children and adults.
Qualifications
Strong classical ballet training required
Ability to teach at least one additional style with technical depth
Prior experience working with children and teens in a studio setting
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Cultural sensitivity, integrity, and alignment with our mission and values
Reliable transportation and consistent availability during assigned hours
Must be available on-site in Miramar, FL
Bonus Qualifications
RAD or ABT certification or training
Background in professional performance or choreography
Experience with inclusive and culturally responsive pedagogy
Familiarity with dance studio software and digital tools (Jackrabbit, Asana, Go High Level)
Key Responsibilities
Teach progressive, technically sound, and engaging ballet classes for children and teens.
Teach at least one additional style (e.g., modern, jazz, acro, tap or musical theatre).
Prepare students for studio performances, evaluations, and milestone moments.
Collaborate with the Artistic Director and staff on curriculum, lesson planning, and event support.
Participate in monthly faculty meetings and quarterly curriculum planning sessions.
Maintain a clean, safe, inclusive classroom environment and studio culture.
Support studio growth by participating in events such as open houses, trial classes, and community engagements.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with students, families, and staff.
Uphold the values and expectations of BE Dance Studios at all times.
Additional Expectations:
Attend monthly and quarterly faculty meetings
Participate in performance planning and participate in developing curriculum
Maintain regular communication with studio leadership and families
Participate in student assessments
Align with BE Dance Studios’ commitment to inclusivity and excellence
Availability & Schedule
This is a part-time position ranging from 2 to 15 hours per week (teaching & admin) depending on season and enrollment. Candidates must be available for scheduled classes and planning meetings. Monthly and quarterly teacher collaboration sessions are required.
